OPPO x Nylon Magazine Photography Contest Finalist
I was chosen as one of ten photographer finalists for the OPPO x Nylon Magazine 2023 Photography Contest. The brief was to create a photo series around the theme "Golden Times," using the latest — and at the time, yet-to-be-launched — OPPO Find N3 series. After a competitive selection process, my work was exhibited at the OPPO Studio pop-up along Orchard Road, celebrating creativity and innovation in mobile photography.
My photo series, titled "Lily's Golden Times," is a tribute to my late mother, Lily. The series takes viewers through her cherished possessions, with each gold-colored item reflecting a story from her radiant era.
The theme carries layers of meaning — symbolizing both a tangible connection to the past and a time filled with warmth, love, and beauty. Each item bears witness to the life she celebrated and the memories she left behind.
Captured with the OPPO Find N3’s 'Pro' camera feature, the series preserves her legacy with clarity and artistry. Through these images, I hope to inspire others to cherish the golden moments that define their loved ones' lives.
